Duolingo is a new English Proficiency Test that is a great

alternative or complement to the likes of IELTS or TOEFL.

It is more convenient, user-friendly and much cheaper.

 

It is recognised by an increasing number of universities, 

including Yale and Columbia who accept it as proof of English proficiency.

Where it isn't yet fully certified in this sense, it is an easy and effective way to show that you are more than ready to study at an English-medium university.

 

It takes just 45 minutes and can be completed anywhere under the right conditions.

If you register here before the end of May (and take the test within 90 days), you will be invited to take the test; be charged less than HK$200 and receive your results within 48 hours. You can send your results to universities immediately or later when you apply.
